1. What Poll Patrol Is
Poll Patrol is a field review tool used by authorized Master Poll Workers in Monmouth County, New Jersey to record observations at polling locations during elections. Access is restricted to individuals explicitly authorized by the county.
2. Information We Collect
We collect the following information from authorized users:
- Name and email address (via Google sign-in or email login)
- Polling location visit records you submit through the app
- Checklist responses, worker evaluations, and notes entered during reviews
3. How We Use Your Information
Information collected is used solely to:
- Authenticate your identity and provide access to the app
- Record and store your field review submissions
- Generate reports for county election administration
4. Who Has Access
Your review records are accessible to:
- You (the reviewer who submitted them)
- Administrators designated by Monmouth County
5. Analytics
This app uses Vercel Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage data — specifically page views, performance metrics, device type, browser, and country. This data contains no personally identifiable information, uses no cookies, and is not linked to individual users. It is used solely to monitor app performance and reliability.
6. Data Storage
Data is stored in a secured database hosted by Supabase (supabase.com) and served through Vercel (vercel.com). Both providers maintain industry-standard security practices. Data is retained for the duration of the election cycle and subject to county record-retention requirements.
7. Google Sign-In
If you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from Google. We do not receive your password or any other Google account data. Google's privacy policy governs their handling of your information during sign-in.
